Data Administrator (FTC- 3 months)
Our Client, The Land Development Agency (LDA) is a key Government Commercial Semi-State Body that delivers social and affordable housing on State and other lands. It is overseen by an independent board of directors and is funded with €3.75 billion of equity capital committed by the Government. It is also permitted to borrow up to €1.25bn. The LDA has commenced construction on various state sourced lands and is currently working on about 20 direct delivery projects that can deliver over 8,000 homes. It is also delivering affordable housing by working with private sector on an initiative called ‘Project Tosaigh’, which will yield a further 5,000 homes on land provided by housebuilders.
Additionally, the LDA is working on large-scale longer-term strategic areas by master-planning and bringing forward planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter, the Digital Hub in Dublin and Sandy Road in Galway. Our team is around 160 people and growing rapidly.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide strong administrator to support with a data/system transfer to the Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement teams within the LDA. This is a great opportunity to work in a new agency, using your creativity and initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and build excellent relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders.
This job would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, is comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines, with strong communications skills.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
· Requisition process - Maintenance and approval of purchase requisitions
· New Vendor creations/vendor changes
· Purchase Order maintenance including price changes and PO closures
· Preparing and placing approved purchase orders
· Following up on all purchase orders and dealing with all purchasing related queries
· Management and updating of the Vendor database
· Development and preparation of data to support management reports
· Providing admin support to the Procurement Department
Qualifications and Experience Required
· Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred but not essential
· Previous experience in a similar or related purchasing role would be a distinct advantage
· Knowledge of and experience within biopharmaceutical manufacturing/procurement operations is desirable
· Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
· Perform hands-on analysis of large volumes of data
· The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills for this position as well as good time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
· High precision and exceptional attention to detail is required for this role.
