Cpl Announce Official Support of Dublin Ladies GAA

Cpl are proud to announce our official support of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Team.

On their road to success culminating in winning the All Ireland Final in 2017, they encountered many obstacles, defeats and narrow misses, but what is most striking about the team is their ability to bounce back. Their ability to recover and improve is a result of their drive and dedication and is an inspiration to sportspeople and professionals outside of sport alike.

With a 70% female workforce, Cpl are passionate about gender equality and inclusion in the workforce, with the sports field being no different. Through this partnership, we hope to support the Dublin Ladies Football Team in their careers both on and off the pitch.

To celebrate the launch of our partnership, Cpl were delighted to host a Breakfast Briefing on Thursday 21st June, where we welcomed 3 players from the team, Leah Caffrey, Noelle Healy and Lyndsey Davey, to speak to our staff. The players discussed their determination, ability to overcome adversity, and the elements that have helped them to succeed in sport and their careers outside of sport.

Speaking at the launch to announce Cpl’s support of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Team, Cpl CEO Anne Heraty remarked, “What led these women and their teammates to this incredible victory was their motivation, commitment, resilience and refusal to give up – qualities imperative to any workplace and ones I see in my team at Cpl.”

When asked about what their best advice was, Lyndsey, who is a firefighter at Dublin Airport, commented that it was simply to “be all in’” both in your career and passions outside of work. Noelle’s advice was to choose your attitude. As an athlete and anesthetist, she has two demanding responsibilities so choosing to be positive is imperative to keep her motivated.

Through this partnership, we hope to support the Dublin Ladies Football Team in their careers both on and off the pitch and promote this great team.
