On Friday night, December 1st, we attended the 11th annual NRF Awards to celebrate the year's best of the best in the Recruitment industry. Cpl is delighted to have picked up not just one, but two awards on the night.
Unsung Hero Award
This year, the NRF added a new award to recognise those who work within the industry, but aren't directly involved in the recruitment cycle. Cpl was thrilled for one of our longest serving employees, Rita Ryan, to win the Unsung Hero award. Rita began working at the age of 12 years old and has worked for Cpl for almost 20 years. She has cared for most Cpl staff from a time when it was just 30 employees to now when there are 700. While her title is cleaner, she is simply so much more. Whether you are looking to get into the office at 5am or 11pm, are missing something for a key presentation, or just need someone to lend an ear, Rita is at hand. Rita picked up her award in front of a packed house in the Shelbourne Hotel. Cpl is so proud of all of the unseen work Rita does for our organisation and how she ensures we never get ahead of ourselves!
Best in Practice: Cpl Healthcare
It's been a big year for Cpl Healthcare, with the launch of anew website, and the successfulBig Nurse Switchcampaign following the HSE Tender win. To conclude a wonderful year, Managing Director, Niall McDevitt picked up the Best in Practice award for Healthcare, making it the company's third win. Speaking of the award, Niall said that he was delighted their hard work had been recognised.
