CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce, we are now accepting CVs from experienced professionals for the role of Safeguarding Manager for a not-for-profit international voluntary organisation based in Dublin. The Safeguarding Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children who receive services from the charity.
The perfect candidate will have:
• An approved qualification in Social Work at NFQ Level 8 or Higher and registered with (or eligible to register) with CORU.
OR
• A recognised qualification in Social Care, Child Care, Nursing or Youth Work;
OR
• A recognised postgraduate qualification in Safeguarding, child protection and welfare, safeguarding vulnerable adults. * Other appropriate education and or experience relevant to the role will be considered
AND
• At least 5 years of experience of working in or within a similar role with Safeguarding and Child Protection Responsibilities.
• At least 5 years’ experience dealing with safeguarding allegations, complaints, serious incidents and investigations.
• Experience of working at a mid/senior management level a requirement.
• Previous experience within the Data Protection compliance field, able to demonstrate strong understanding of GDPR and associated legislation.
• Developing policy, procedure and work processes.
