Mapping and Charting Officer
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Mapping and Charting Officer (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £15.21 per/hr
· Location – DOF – LPS/OSNI/Geospatial Systems (Home Working)
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
We need to be able to manage the delivery of annual targets for the Mapping Strand of the GLPR Programme by locating, mapping, and publishing Departmental asset data.
To support the registration of Government assets to secure a guarantee of legal title that will improve asset management practices across the NICS.
The GLPR team needs a Mapping and Charting Officer, this will help massively on getting all departments mapped on to the asset register before the project comes to an end on the next financial year.
Essential Qualifications
· A BTEC National Certificate or equivalent qualification, or higher, in an appropriate subject, such as Civil Engineering Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Physical Sciences, Engineering.
