Administrative Assistant
Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an administrative assistant on a full-time temporary contract until 21st of March 2025. This role will be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
The post holder will
· Provide support to BA Human Rights undergraduate, its Programme Director, academic staff delivery the programme modules and the students.
· Coordinate and manage event-related administration for meetings, seminars, conferences, webinars, and other events ie room bookings, catering, guest accommodation/travel arrangements ect.
· Budget management ie. issue purchase orders, following through on GNR’s, invoices and working with accounts payable to ensure supplier payments are processed in a timely manner.
· Ensure procurement for the purchase of goods and services is in compliance with University policies.
· Provide administrative support to the Director of the ICHR, including travel arrangements, processing of expenses, hosting and participation in events, meetings, and related academic duties

Skills:
· High level of attention to detail required.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent organisational abilities, including the ability to prioritise, plan, and follow-up matters accordingly.
· Prior experience organising events and conferences/seminars
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
· Ability to interact positively and professionally with a diverse international range of students, staff, international partner organisations and Universities, and other organisations.
· Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
· A strong proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outloook, MS Teams, and online communications.
· Ideally, knowledge of university’s financial systems Agresso.
· Ideally, has knowledge of university’s procurement, travel and subsistence policies.
· Excellent IT skills, including social media tools.
