Senior Cloud Engineer – Galway/Hybrid
Our client, a leading multinational financial services provider seeks to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their agile, cross-functional team that is committed to providing value to their delivery teams through technology solutions.
The team blends deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies. They are passionate about opensource contribution and participating in foundations like the CNCF and CDF while embracing a continuous learning mindset in an open and transparent culture.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Extensive experience working with 2 or more languages (JavaScript, Python, Golang etc)
· Extensive experience working with Kafka and Kafka ecosystem.
· Extensive experience working in a cloud native environment.
· Extensive experience working hands-on with infrastructure as code.
· Extensive experience working with mid-tier technologies (APIs)
· Extensive experience applying software engineering patterns & coding best practices.
· Extensive experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment.
· Passion for new technologies and working in an agile environment.
Bonus skills
· Cloud Certifications in AWS or Azure.
