IT Project Manager

A Project Manager with our team needs to have technical knowledge, be highly organised, possess strong leadership & communication skills and thrive in a team-based environment.
The successful candidate will take the lead on Software Development Projects across multi-disciplinary teams involving the Management of Project Design, Estimation, Development, Testing and Delivery of our robust industry standard applications.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, IT or Software Development.
Previous experience working on software development projects within a manufacturing environment an advantage.
3-5 years Previous Project Management.
Agile and/or Waterfall experience.
Project Management qualification – PMP, Agile PM or Scrum desirable.
Experience with project management information systems. Jira, Confluence and MS Project preferred.
Responsibilities:
Management of the full lifecycle of Projects from requirements gathering to delivery.
Working closely with the Product Management teams, to help define and design highly usable solutions to meet our customers' needs.
Leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams is a more common term, facilitating task allocation, follow up and issue resolution.
Ensuring Project development process aligns with recognised standards for Software Development.
Management of Project progresses against scheduling, resource costs and reporting out on same.
Resource scheduling across Project portfolio.
Project Change management.
Accountability for Project end tasks in alignment with processes – Requirements delivery, Signoffs, Release notes, Training etc.
Facilitate and guide improvements related to processes, procedures and teams.
Participation in Audits as required.

3. Detailed and accurate documentation skills.
4. Proficiently chairing meetings across teams and management.
