Cpl supports launch of the world’s first Recruitment Executive Apprenticeship Degree

Cpl have been privileged to support the launch of the world’s first Recruitment Executive Apprenticeship – a BA (Hons) Degree in Recruitment Practice. Developed by the NRF, in partnership with the National College of Ireland, the Degree will see those taking part learning on the job, through online tutorials and college attendance once a week.

This 3-year undergraduate degree programme, commencing in September, is significant for standards with the recruitment industry and will enable apprentices to secure a degree while they work. This qualification will give holders a clear competitive edge. The degree is Government funded and aligns with the Action Plan on Apprenticeships.

Learning outcomes include an understanding of professional recruitment practice, including business strategy and planning, ICT tools for recruitment, leading teams, financial management, stakeholder relationship management and understanding contracts, governance and legal requirements.

We are delighted that 5 Cpl employees have secured places on the apprenticeship after following a rigorous screening process. Congratulations Aisling Bowden, Aoife Norton, Donna Heneghan, Kerry Lyn Steyn and Lauren Hogan.
