I have teamed up with a leading Irish Owned Beauty/Cosmetics company as they are hiring an Accounts Assistant for their office in Meath.

Responsibilities/Duties:
· Preparation and processing of payroll.
· Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
· Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of fixed asset register.
· Responsible for creditors ledger and preparation of payment runs for review and sign off by senior management.
· Weekly bank account reconciliations.
· Debtors – ensuring invoices are issued, resolving issues/queries, managing debtor collection and escalating issues within the business.
· Monitoring and reporting KPI's to management and other departments and preparation of ad hoc reports.
· Monitoring and reporting on sales and stock management.
· Ensuring timely completion and filing of all returns required by Revenue, CSO, etc.
· Prepare accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports and performs financial analysis as required.
· VAT returns – preparation of same, familiarity with postponed accounting an advantage.
· Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
· Accounting Technician, Part/Fully Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
· Sage experience desirable
· Proven analytical, MS Excel and ERP system experience with exposure to stock/inventory accounting an advantage
· Ability to handle a busy and varied workload in a fast-moving deadline driven environment
· Proven ability to manage relationships at all levels inside and outside the business and to influence across departmental boundaries.
· Stamp 4/European Passport required
