Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant – Cookstown - £30,000

Working with a successful company based in Cookstown, we are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers excellent progression opportunities and autonomy over your work.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, expenses, and transactions. ​

·      Processing payments, invoices, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. ​

·      Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. ​

·      Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. ​

·      Administration tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing vehicles.  

Qualifications and Skills:

·      A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

·      2+ experience in an accounting or finance role.

·      Competent IT skills and experience working with accounting software is essential.

Work Environment:

The role is office-based, with standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
