Accounts Assistant
Location: Dublin 1

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team at our Head Office in Dublin 1. This is a flexible, full-time permanent position within our dynamic Finance Department. The role is varied and offers a great opportunity to apply and develop accounting skills and interact with other departments across the Company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review and process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate entry and coding within the accounting system
• Administration of invoicing interface platform, including liaising with various Group departments to ensure timely recording
• Maintenance of shared mailbox, and dissemination of incoming communications to relevant finance team members as necessary
• Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries
• Review and postings of employee expense claims & credit card statements
• Posting of direct debit invoices and matching to payments taken
• Review and reconcile monthly supplier statements
• Assist the Accounts Payable team as required in the delivery of weekly operations. Tasks including but not limited to scanning, matching and payment processing of supplier and agent accounts
• Prepare other ad-hoc reports as requested by Management to support the finance function.
• Liaise with both internal and external auditors when requested
• Provide cover within the Accounts team in Treasury, Accounts Payable & General Ledger
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as required.
The Candidate:
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a finance role.
• Ability to progress tasks on your own initiative, and to work well within the team
• Deadline focused with the ability to prioritise tasks and possess sound numerical skills.
• Flexible and multi-tasking with the ability to produce consistent results.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
The key system utilised is SAP Financial Accounting. We also use a number of 3rd party online banking systems as well as our inhouse sales systems. Experience in SAP is an advantage but not essential as training will be given on all systems.
