Assistant Manager – Retail Sales
Minimum 2 years in retail sales (tile/wood sales experience is a significant advantage)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager setting and achieving sales targets
- Implement strategies to boost store profits
- Recruit, interview, and train new employees
- Manage store rosters, time sheets and annual leave
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Oversee stock levels and place orders as needed
- Manage weekly store deliveries
- Rotate stock in warehouse and shop floor
- Support the store manager achieve store budgets
- Handle and process customer orders
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of tile and wood flooring products
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product lines
- Ability to load and unload tiles/wood (some heavy lifting required)
