Role Background & Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Resilience Manager to join our team. As the Business Resilience Manager, you will support the implementation of strategic, transformational projects that bolster resilience, mitigate potential risks, and enhance operational agility. You will play a key role in managing change, overseeing processes, and enabling seamless transitions that drive long-term success.
Responsibilities:
· Project Support & Implementation
o Lead the execution of transformational projects that minimize financial and reputational risks.
o Oversee the effective translation of complex processes into scalable and sustainable systems.
o Manage the successful completion of agile audits specific to resilience-focused projects, ensuring all findings are actioned and closed.
· Process Management
o Utilize the ISO Plan-Do-Check-Act closed-loop methodology to develop and implement comprehensive, resilient processes.
o Define, document, and streamline complex processes to ensure alignment with the organization’s transformation goals.
o Act as a liaison between teams, translating technical processes into accessible language for cross-functional stakeholders.
· Change Management & People Support
o Provide empathetic and structured support to team members during periods of change, ensuring they understand and adapt to new systems and processes.
o Facilitate training sessions on complex processes, ensuring thorough understanding across all levels of the organization.
o Implement strategies to help teams overcome challenges to change, fostering an environment of openness and adaptability.
· Risk & Escalation Management
o Proactively respond to emerging risks and ensure that all necessary adjustments to the project are promptly addressed.
o Resolve escalations effectively, fostering collaboration and maintaining a people-centric approach.
o Continuously monitor, prioritize, and address risks and changes to maintain project momentum.
· Analytics & Reporting
o Use strong analytical skills to generate meaningful, actionable insights from data, producing reports that inform decision-making and programme optimization.
o Develop regular status reports on schedule of works, risk mitigation action plans, and audit findings.
Experience & Attributes:
· ISO Methodology: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the ISO Plan-Do-Act methodology, particularly in closed-loop processes.
· Process Migration & System Integration: Proven experience in defining complex processes and translating them into organizational systems.
· Audit Management: Skilled in overseeing agile audits and closing out findings that are critical to transformational projects.
· Communication: Ability to translate complex issues and audit findings into simple, actionable language for all levels within the organization.
· People-Centric Approach: Empathetic, supportive, and skilled at guiding people through periods of change.
· Conflict Management: Proficient in conflict resolution, maintaining focus on project goals and collaboration.
· Training: Confident in delivering training on complex processes, ensuring comprehensive understanding and engagement.
· Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to develop reports, monitor project success, and highlight emerging risks.
· Adaptability: Highly responsive to change, capable of pivoting focus based on organizational priorities.
· Resilience & Learning Orientation: Demonstrates willingness to learn and adapt to overcome challenges and resistance effectively.
