Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager

Position Overview
The EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operations comply with global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, fostering a culture of safety and regulatory excellence across multiple locations. This role involves developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with global EHS regulations, including HSA and OSHA standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Promote safety awareness initiatives and oversee emergency preparedness measures.
- Manage chemical audits, wastewater reporting, and hazardous material handling.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
- Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance workplace safety and drive a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous EHS management experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Level 7 degree in Workplace Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HSA and OSHA regulations with proven compliance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Lean/Six Sigma experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- CIF Safety Supervisor Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to travel to company sites in Fermoy, Co. Cork, and Kells, Co. Meath.
