Regional Sales Manager – Munster
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new sales from new and existing customers. The candidate will also have responsibility for retaining our existing customer base of FMCG retail outlets and SME’s nationwide. It is essential that any successful candidate is capable of working of their own initiative in terms of finding and creating leads and has a pro-active and enthusiastic approach to making sales.
Working as part of a nationwide sales team the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key relationships, identifying new sales opportunities with SME’s and ensuring excellent service is delivered at all times. You will work on various campaigns predominantly focused on new business acquisition and from time to time the rolling out of new products to existing and new customers nationwide as and when they come to market.

Detailed Job Description
· You will be set quarterly sales targets by the National Sales Manager. To be reviewed between the successful candidate and National Sales Manager on an ongoing basis.
· You will contact new customers nationwide to sell various products from our catalogue of predominantly financial products.
· An ability to source sales leads by researching and contacting potential clients by phone is a key requirement, as is gaining referrals from the existing customer base.
· Responsible for growing the sales of various products including merchant services and others product lines as the demand necessitates plus new products as they become available.
· You will maintain accurate records of daily sales and customer service calls.
· Produce accurate and timely reports to management on the progress of sales – company, team & individual.
Role related knowledge, skills and experience at entry
· Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience
· Experience of payment services industry desirable
· Must demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above.
· A good knowledge of the financial services market advantageous
· Familiar with the sales process for a low margin high volume product into the convenience retail market.
· Excellent Communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
· Self-Motivated & pro-active
· Relevant 3rd level qualification desirable
