Our client, a global leader in e-commerce, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their EU Expansion Team in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing a team of Account Managers to drive the growth of third-party businesses across various product categories. This role involves identifying scalable solutions to enhance marketplace operations, collaborating with international teams to share best practices, and leading projects aimed at improving both customer and seller experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a team of Account Managers to launch and grow sellers in Poland.
• Achieve business and financial objectives, driving the growth of third-party businesses.
• Identify opportunities to improve marketplace operations and manage the implementation of scalable solutions.
• Share best practices with global counterparts to identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct deep dives to understand root causes of seller performance and implement strategies for growth.
• Collaborate closely with category teams to identify growth opportunities and improve customer and seller experiences.
Basic Qualifications:
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language (Polish).
• 3 years of experience in managing a team.
• 6-10 years of working experience in management consulting, product management, or sales management.
• Proven people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, including advanced Excel and database analysis.
• Experience in driving successful projects with stakeholders at all levels of decision-making.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to work with legal, product, and business stakeholders to reach beneficial agreements.
• Strong business judgment and proven ability to influence others.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools.
• Creative and proactive mindset, with a passion for advocating on behalf of the customer.
• Experience in retail and/or technology or e-commerce industries is preferred but not essential
