This role is pivotal in implementing the organization's cyber strategy and ensuring robust security architecture frameworks are in place.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee security assessments across IT projects and ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Plan, design, and implement network and security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection technologies.
- Provide expert guidance on emerging security threats and design solutions to mitigate them.
- Develop and present security documentation and strategies to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to diverse technical environments.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the water, utilities, or similar industries is desirable but not essential.
