Job Title; Technical Services Manager,
Location; Large multi-storey, Modern Corporate Commercial Offices, Dublin (predominantly Dublin City Centre)
Remuneration; Basic Salary; €95,000 , plus Car allowance circa €10,000 / Bonus 10% KPI plus benefits
Excellent Opportunity for Senior Professionals in Technical Facilities Management, with experience in managing high profile corporate accounts that possess a relevant technical academic record (preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services) As Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible and will take Accountability for the day-to-day running of the Technical Services element of this prestigious facility management portfolio, providing technical support to the Technical teams. You will manage on-site technical team, various sub-contractors and deliver an exceptional service. You will have a proven track record and have the ability to demonstrate managing client expectations and financial control by operating within client approved budget that you will assist to develop. As this is such a sizable and recently expanded account, the successful candidate will manage the Dublin portfolio along with the existing Technical Services Manager to ensure sufficient service, technical expertise, significant and demonstrable management experience is maintained and developed.
Under your Remit
Operations; monitor / manage remedial action ensuring, foster relationships/trust, understanding your customer (internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction
Technical - accountable for all technical services including fixed, planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across each building
Provide monthly operational performance reports
Lead in the support, investigation and resolution of technical or system related problems
Accurate asset information for the validation of asset registers, condition evaluation and life cycle planning (CMMS/Maximo)
Excel in the delivery of KPI's and SLA's
People Management Provide management guidance and lead the team including overseeing the allocation of work, attendance and performance management to exceed service expectations and ensure best practice prevails
Provide motivation, recognition and engagement, ensuring all reports have development plans whilst actively encourage training
Coach team members using company core training matrix as a guide, constantly motivate performance and embed Performance Management cycle, Team development and strength areas and ensure opportunities for growth and succession
Supplier Management; ensure service delivery; SLA’s performance management, continuous development & critical supplier non conformance
Budget & Finance; owndership of Technical Services annual budget,annual budget planning process, variance reports. Manage, monitor and advise on the discretionary spending budget
Project and Programs; refurbishments, renovations, fit-outs and new buildings
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment; enhance culture, follow up on; QHSE actions / reports, legislative compliance, system, capture RISE Behaviours, accountable for audits including compliance processes and the remediation and closure of any audit action
What we are looking for
· Relevant qualification in Mechanical and Electrical field
· Experience in a similar position at senior level in a Corporate Office Cultural Environment
· Health and Safety qualification, Nebosh / IOSH
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· An eye for detail and good design
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Excellent motivational and influencing skills demonstrating integrity and a level commercial awareness
· Proven Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
· Numerate with a high degree of computer literacy
· Broad technical knowledge and understanding of FM and building systems.
· Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of all systems within the building services environment
· Knowledge of Implementation and monitoring of policy and process compliance
· Dependable and flexible, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Responsive to customer requests in an empathic, supportive and productive manner
· Experience of working within a maintenance Team
· Excellent Presentation Skills
· Language - fluency in written and spoken English
