We are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network Team in North Dublin City & County. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist Occupational Therapy services to children and young people with complex disabilities, working closely with families and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessment and treatment planning for children and young people with complex disabilities
• Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions, including advice and education for children, families and carers
• Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to care
• Developing and implementing treatment plans, including setting appropriate goals and objectives
• Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members
• Participating in service development and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
• BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and experience working with children with complex disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience in clinical supervision and leadership is desirable
• Full driving license and access to a car is essential
