Senior Internal Communications Manager
Cpl Marketing are working with a public sector organisation who is looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join their team on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will excel in managing change communications, people projects and key initiatives, with a strong focus on enhancing employee communications and colleague experience.
The day to day:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of comprehensive internal communication strategies.
- Provide internal communications counsel to senior management across the organisation.
- Monitor the effectiveness of Internal Communications initiatives and channels through data analysis and respond to employee feedback, adjusting communications approach accordingly.
- Manage the ownership and procurement of key internal communication platforms, channels, and technology.
- Collaborate closely with the People Function teams to enhance employee experience.
- Partner and align messaging of internal and external communications.
- Develop and manage the Internal Communications budget.
- Lead and manage ad hoc projects as assigned by the Chief People Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
- Internal communications and/or change management education/experience is highly desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in internal communications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and report on communication effectiveness.
- Experience or education in inclusive language or inclusive communications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills is essential.
