Role - Training Coordinator
Location - Cork
Contract type - Permanent - full time
Working hours - Monday to Friday 39h/week. Work outside of standard hours may be required. WFH may be accommodated up to 2 days week with prior approval.
Training Coordinator
The Training Coordinator oversees learning solutions, including curricula administration, ensuring they reflect job responsibilities and compliance needs. They manage training projects to address learning gaps and maintain compliance within the assigned business area.
The Training Coordinator tracks progress, designs feedback loops, addresses challenges, and works with learning service suppliers. They support personnel qualification and compliance, helping employees enhance their contributions to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Training Coordinator Portfolio Management
- Identify and resolve learning gaps through effective training solutions.
- Define and maintain qualification requirements for personnel in the assigned area.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate training materials and ensure their effectiveness.
- Manage training projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables that meet business goals.
- Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring compliance with instructional design standards.
- Monitor progress and implement feedback to continuously improve training programs.
Client Collaboration
- Partner with business teams to align training with strategic goals and compliance needs.
- Actively participate in area project and process teams.
- Analyze job roles and responsibilities to design relevant training interventions.
- Monitor client satisfaction with learning programs and recommend improvements.
- Communicate updates and address issues to ensure smooth program implementation.
Curriculum Architecture and Assignment
- Create and maintain job duty-aligned curricula in collaboration with business partners.
- Ensure accuracy in target audience definitions for learning interventions in the LMS.
- Troubleshoot curriculum-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Conduct usability testing and share insights to optimize learning solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in Learning & Development (preferred M.S. in relevant fields).
- Strong project management, technical writing, and communication skills. Experience with conflict resolution and managing complex issues.
- Experience with learning & development and SOP business processes
- Prior work in GMP-regulated environments and knowledge of tools like TrackWise and Veeva QualityDocs is a plus.
Additional Details
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate complex systems are essential.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and navigate complex organizations.
- Experience in supplier oversight and a strong understanding of instructional design principles.
- Demonstrated coaching and leadership skills to guide business partners effectively.
- Role may involve travel and exposure to allergens in a manufacturing setting.
- Requires maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to HSE corporate and site goals.
