Arts Executive – Permanent
Cpl are delighted to be working with a philanthropic organisation who are seeking a dynamic Arts Executive to join the team on a permanent contract, based in Dublin 4. The successful candidate will work directly with the Arts Programme Manager within the wider Foundation Team, to help ensure the effective delivery of the company Arts Programme. The Arts Executive will have proven event & project management, communications, organisational, IT, relationship building and administrative and finance skills to support the development and day-to-day administration of the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
• Event & Project Management: Assist with the planning, management, administration, delivery and communication of the Arts Program which includes three national competitions and associated exhibitions, concerts, mentoring and a range of other opportunities provided for our winners by external partner organisations.
• Preparation of Communications Content: Support the development of written, photographic and video content for company communications and social media. Ensure the Arts Section of the website is up to date and relevant.
• CRM Management: Manage the database on behalf of the Arts team; adding stakeholder information, ensuring it is up to date and accurate, pulling reports for invitations to events and analysing data.
• Finance: Support the Arts Programme Manager with the financial systems to ensure the smooth administration of the Arts Programme finances.
• Meeting support: Support the administration of both internal committee and external judging panel meetings which includes preparation of meeting packs, minute-taking, organisation of room booking, invites, catering and technology if required.
• Other duties as required by your Line Manager.
Requirements:
· 2 years’ experience working within an arts/cultural environment in a marketing/ communications role.
· Third level qualification in arts/cultural management would be an advantage.
· Experience in developing digital content for social media communications.
· Excellent administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills – written, and verbal.
· Excellent customer/stakeholder care.
· Strong teamwork skills, and ability and willingness to work with different colleagues on projects as required.
· Strong Problem Solving & Analytical Skills.
· Strong numeracy skills and basic knowledge of financial and budgetary procedures.
· Strong IT skills (MS Office, website & database management).
