Large Insurance provider is looking for a Azure Cloud/ Technical Architect to join there business on a rolling contract. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Azure Solution Design:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
- Ensure alignment with business goals and best practices.
- Cloud Architecture:
- Define and implement cloud architecture principles, patterns, and standards for Azure cloud services.
- Expertise in Azure IaaS (virtual machines, storage, networking, security).
- Integration Suite Implementation:
- Proficiency in Azure API Management , Azure Frontdoor, Azure Application Gateway Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory.
- Orchestrate business processes, run complex logic, and move large datasets across various data sources.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and compliance controls to ensure a secure and compliant Azure environment.
- Familiarity with Azure Governance (Blueprints, policies, tagging, cost management).
- Resource Optimization:
- Optimize Azure resources for cost-effectiveness and efficient utilization.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Influence and manage relationships in a complex environment.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as an Azure Architect with a focus
- On designing and implementing solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
- Migrating IaaS solutions on the Azure Container solutions.
- Implementing Azure integration suite i.e API Management , Application gateway and cloud front door
- Strong knowledge of Azure services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Educational Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
