Position: Business Support Officer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week, Tuesday-Thursday (flexibility required)
Salary: €30,000 (pro-rata)
Candidate must have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
- Relevant business or related qualification (Degree or equivalent)
- 2 years of administrative experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the smooth running of the Dublin office and coordinate with the Business Support Team on shared responsibilities.
- Work supportively and flexibly to ensure robust business support functions across the agency.
- Assist with various administration projects throughout the year as needed.
- Maintain good relationships and teamwork with colleagues and external agencies.
- Assist in organising periodic conferences, seminars, and other events.
- Provide administrative support to the Director as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all work undertaken.
- Ensure all administrative functions comply with National Standards and assist in preparation for inspections.
- Attend and participate in company events, team meetings, training courses, supervision sessions, and appraisals punctually and well-prepared.
Core Tasks:
- Log referrals on the company database system.
- Regularly request and track care plans and care orders.
- Maintain an accurate carer vacancy list and ensure regular distribution to teams nationally.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Additional Duties:
- Be flexible with working hours, which may include evenings or weekends, especially for posts directly working with carers and children or young people.
- Respond sensitively and professionally to children, young people, and families.
- Undertake necessary training and development for the role.
- Ensure Health and Safety is observed during employment.
