These positions are full time positions. The hospital has 102 in patient beds and 6 operating Theatres in Cork city. The Heart & Vascular Centre at the hospital provides a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular services.
Patient care is managed by a multi-disciplinary team of world-class experts and specialists covering the full spectrum of cardiac conditions. The team of consultants also offer a high degree of sub-specialisation expertise to treat the widest range of heart problems. This ensures patients receive the most comprehensive and up-to-date range of diagnostic and therapeutic options, individually tailored to their specific needs.
Interested candidates must have
· Registered general nurse qualification
· Full NMBI registration – active registration
· Previous recent cardiothoracic critical care or cardiothoracic scrub nurse or cardiology nursing experience essential.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality
· Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment that requires quick thinking and excellent analytical and assessment skills
· Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self-motivated
· Eligibility to work in Ireland – Stamp 4/ Irish Citizenship – no sponsorship at this time.
