Consultant Cardiologist for University Hospital in Dublin
University Hospital is one of Ireland’s largest acute teaching and learning hospitals, with adult, psychiatric and age-related healthcare on one site.
The Cardiology Department is a well established and continually evolving interventional cardiology unit with a 9 bedded CCU, state of the art cardiac cath lab, and cardiology consultants with specialist interests ranging from complex intervention to electrophysiology, devices and imaging. A comprehensive outpatient service, close linkages to DML hospitals and an emphasis on day case procedures contribute to a high throughput. Cardiology also hosts the consultant led CRY-P unit, specialising in the investigation and management of inheritable cardiac disease. .
