Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager

Position Overview

The EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operations comply with global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, fostering a culture of safety and regulatory excellence across multiple locations. This role involves developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with global EHS regulations, including HSA and OSHA standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate hazards.
Promote safety awareness initiatives and oversee emergency preparedness measures.
Manage chemical audits, wastewater reporting, and hazardous material handling.
Collaborate with Human Resources on workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance workplace safety and drive a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous EHS management experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
Level 7 degree in Workplace Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of HSA and OSHA regulations with proven compliance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Lean/Six Sigma experience is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
CIF Safety Supervisor Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to travel to company sites in Fermoy, Co. Cork, and Kells, Co. Meath.
