Field Service Engineer
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime and weekend work may be required due to the critical nature of the role).

Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in the service, commissioning, and operation of advanced water treatment systems across Ireland and Europe. The position requires hands-on technical expertise and a customer-focused approach to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Key Equipment Includes:
- Mechanical Vapor Compression Stills
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems
- Ultrafiltration Units
- Water Softening and Carbon Filtration Systems
- Distribution Systems: Pumps, Valves, Heat Exchangers, and Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Maintenance: Ensure reliable operation by performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed systems.
- Commissioning: Install and commission new equipment, including conducting tests, calibrations, and troubleshooting to optimise system performance.
- Customer Interaction: Represent the company professionally, fostering positive relationships and delivering tailored solutions to client needs.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, including service logs, technical feedback, and compliance records.
- Training & Feedback: Provide technical training for clients and relay customer feedback to improve future product development.
- Compliance: Adhere to cGMP, health and safety, and regulatory standards during all operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Degree/Diploma in Marine, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related fields).
- Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of water purification systems (RO, filtration, etc.).
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel nationally and internationally.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards (GMP, FDA).
- Experience with start-up and commissioning projects.
