Finance Clerical Administrator – Ballina, Mayo
Our client is looking for a Finance Administrator on an initial 12-month contract basis. There are likely opportunities for contract extensions with this position. The successful candidate will work with the finance team and will provide a range of supports to the Finance team and internally in my clients’ operations.
The role is based in Ballina with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
· Assist accounts payable with supplier invoice processing and payments, creditor statement reconciliations and support staff with procurement queries and the provision of purchase orders.
· Assist with the checking and Processing of Staff Travel & Subsistence payments in accordance with policies and procedures in place
· Assist with the Maintenance of Travel Desk
· Dealing with customers at a variety of levels through various means of communication.
· Assisting in the development of policies from time to time.
· Operation of the financial system and other local systems.
· Use of all technology and equipment as assigned.
· Complete all essential training successfully.
· Any other duties that may be assigned as part of the overall functioning of the Finance Unit.
Experience
· Highly organised with excellent clerical and organisation skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion to a high degree is expected
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer focused attitude
· Ability to work towards tight deadlines
· Effective numerical and literacy skills
· A thorough knowledge and understanding of office processes and equipment is important and PC proficiency is vital
