Job Purpose:
The Grade 3 Clerical Officer will provide essential administrative support within the department , ensuring efficient and professional service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Communication
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Provide information and assistance to the public, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Handle queries efficiently and direct them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Administration & Office Support
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence, including appointment letters.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal databases as required.
- Assist in preparing reports, documents, and general office paperwork.
- Organisational Support
- Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring all relevant information is communicated.
- Support colleagues with clerical tasks and contribute to a smooth-running office environment.
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies at all times.
