Our client, a medical sales and services organisation with various sites in Ireland and over 350 employees have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist to join their team in Cork.
Role Details:
- Based in Blarney. Hybrid working options once trained (up to 3 days from home)
- Salary: 40-55,000 depending on experience. Bonus, pension, lunch allowance
Responsibilities:
- Support HR Manager on the strategic direction of the business including integration of acquired businesses and organisational design changes
- Coach line managers on people management and HR processes, employee engagement, performance management and issue resolution
- Implement and deliver HR initiatives across the business
- Oversee and manage recruitment and work with line managers to ensure smooth completion of recruitment processes, liaise with relevant agencies an participate in interview processes
- Manage performance of recruitment agencies selected for PSL and ensure relationships/partnerships are maintained and developed
- Work with management team to build capability of managers to lead and engage their teams to deliver high performance
- Support and coach managers in the identification of high performing talent to ensure succession for key positions
- Identify training needs and source relevant training and development programmes
- Manage remuneration and benefits packages
- Manage all ER, performance and absence issues across the business
- Ensure performance reviews are carried out
- Ensure policies are in line with current legislation
The successful candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a HR Generalist role
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience
- Strong ER experience and extensive knowledge of Irish employment law. An understanding of NI law would be an advantage
- Ability to drive (some travel to other offices is required – full driving license and own transport necessary)
