Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Electrician sought for direct permanent staff role based in large multi-storey Commercial Healthcare Facility ( 5 floors, 5,000sq plus metres). This is a hands on maintenance position to ensure the building is maintained to a highly complaint standard. Commercial / Corporate environment therefore excellent communication / presentation is essential.
Working Hours; standard working week Monday - Friday (36 hours weekly)
Starting time 7.45 am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. 6.30 am start Wednesday
No oncall or weekend work required.
Location: 80% Carrickmines, Dublin South, 20% visits to Premises in Swords and Dundrum
Salary; €50,000 - €55,000 doe (annual salary increments apply)
Benefits; mileage, Annual Bonus: up to 10% Health Insurance: Vhi cover extending to spouse and dependents who are attending full time education (up to the age of 21)
Pension: Employee Contribution up to 5% Employer Contribution up to 10% (Pension initially set at 3% employee contribution, 6% employer contribution)
Income Protection: 3 months full and half from thereafter up to 6 months

Your remit will include
- Emergency lighting; testing, replacing batteries, checking wiring and connections, and ensuring that the lights are properly positioned and ensure sensors are aligned accurately
- BMS checks and monitoring
- Fire Alarm checks, Fire safety system checks
- Automated doors, Lifts
Minor Mechanical (there is a mechanical person on site, but backup services on minor Plumbing issues to include Weekly/monthly Generator checks is expected. HVAC; cleaning filters, time control settings, fan speeds, temperature control settings (desirable)
Adhoc duties; Fabric Maintenance; Room Set-up, Set-down of meeting rooms, hanging equipment, touch ups, etc Incident response; Ensure that policies and procedures are followed correctly
Arrange access and ensure safety documents (RAMS) are presented and works are carried out to standard by 3rd Party Contractors

Required Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
National Craft Certification
Facilities Support experience in a corporate commercial building or similar (medical environment is desirable)
Experience in modern buildings with Building management systems , Fire alarms, AV, HVAC
Experience in Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements for 3rd Party contractors
Experience handling quotes from contractors, reviewing, submitting for approval
