On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Scientific Advisor and Training Specialist/Interim Medical Advisor for a maternity contract cover. This will be 1 year duration. The role is hybrid with 2/3 days in the office (South Dublin).
Purpose
The purpose of this non-promotional s role is to provide medical and scientific information and
support as well as regulatory and training support for internal and external customers for the Derma /Aesthetics and COPD portfolio of the company in line with all relevant guidelines and
regulations.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
· Provide therapy area and product training for sales & marketing staff.
· Provide scientific backup and advice for the company’s sales & marketing activities relevant to Aesthetics and COPD.
· Provide medical information to healthcare professionals and answer product queries on Derma / Aesthetics products as well as COPD.
· Provide background and specific product scientific training to HCPs, Pharmacists and front of shop staff for Derma/Aesthetic products as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant product safety, regulatory affairs, vigilance and pharmacovigilance requirements.
· Develop and maintain own professional expertise and keep up to date on therapeutic trends related to new and existing Derma/ Aesthetics /COPD products and relevant therapy/disease areas.
· Keep abreast of all relevant industry regulation, legislation and ethics codes and ensure that all activities are in compliance with same.
· Ensure that all aesthetic training meetings are compliant with industry regulation, legislation and internal ethics codes.
Candidate Requirements
· Pharmacy or Biology background (MsC or PhD level)
· Highly organised and detail oriented
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills
· 2 years’ relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferably in pharmacovigilance, medical device or cosmetic industry
· Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.
