CPL are delighted to once again support our manufacturing client source their next Process Engineering Lead. This is a busy CMO manufacturing environment, and the hiring manager is looking for someone that is comfortable at customer interfacing managing and has a strong understanding of design for manufacture. You will be an experienced process lead on the site and in time there is additional leadership opportunities to develop and manage a team.
Ideally looking for candidates form a high-volume manufacturing environment, and a strong leader than can manage at multiple levels as well as being part of a team that manages the client relationship from a process engineering perspective.
Ideally you will have knowledge manufacturing of high volume assembly processes and procedures
Key Duties will include:
• Will lead the startup of new/existing projects optimising cost, efficiency and quality.
• Monitors the end to end change process; troubleshooting problem processes and resolving issues with minimal to zero impact on production throughput.
• Will own and lead on the control and maintenance of appropriate documentation.
• Develop EC Process KPIs ensuring the full end to end monitoring of the ECN process, along with downstream process impact analysis minimising production problems associated with change processes, and assist in resolving issues quickly with full root cause analysis.
• Establish detailed processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance; and monitor new customer driven processes.
The successful candidate will have:
• Degree level or Higher in relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering, or alternative) with 5 years plus process engineering experience..
• Very strong technical background (Mechanical / Electromechanical / Manufacturing)
• Excellent collaboration & communications skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• A strong inspirational leader & excellent team player
• A high paced individual that leads by example, is organized and solution focused.
• Overall ability to combine technical, design and manufacturing skillsets in a high pace, dynamic environment.
• Utilizes their knowledge and skillset to get the job done with pace, efficiently utilizing all resources available.
