Purchasing Specialist – North Cork
Our client based in north Cork is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join their growing team. In this role, you will oversee all commercial aspects within your portfolio and play a pivotal role in business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product assortment within your portfolio to ensure a competitive and innovative product range.
- Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess stock.
- Lead negotiations on terms, conditions, pricing, bid evaluations, and delivery charges to ensure optimal cost efficiencies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing in a fast-paced enviroment
- Proven prurchasing experience, with a track record of maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
