Receptionist/ Clerical Officer Grade III
I am currently seeking a a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist on behalf of our client, based in Achill, Co. Mayo.
This is a temporary position starting immediately until 19th March. Part time, Monday to Wednesday (09:00-17:00)
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering exceptional customer service, assisting with administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Welcome patients and visitors to the practice in a courteous and friendly manner.
· Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported.
· Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
· Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, and reschedule as needed.
· Manage patient queries
· Assist with maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
· Ensure the reception area is kept clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
· Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations
· Assist with data entry, updating systems, and handling confidential information
· Assist with other administrative tasks as required by the practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to multitask and manage a busy work environment with attention to detail.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
· Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office or similar)
· Professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
