On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive for Microbiology/Molecular. This is a permanent, full-time role. Territory will be from Dublin to Galway and North of that.
The Role:
Enthusiastic driven individual seeking an opportunity to work in a vibrant, growth driven environment. The successful candidate will work as part of the Sales Organisation and will engage with customers throughout the sales cycle based on expert knowledge of both the technology and the associated applications. The candidate will be responsible for sales support and customer training on Clinical Diagnostic Microbiology/Molecular Instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Work independently, and as part of the Sales organisation team to support Clinical Diagnostic Instrumentation.
Ø Perform applications support and training.
Ø Be client-focused and customer centric, working in conjunction with the Applications and Service teams to meet company goals and objectives.
Ø Active participation in conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
Ø This is a customer facing role so the candidate will be required to travel and meet customers on a regular basis throughout Ireland.
Experience & Abilities:
Ø A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Clinical Diagnostics Sales Role.
Ø Strong skillset in solution selling
Ø Dependent on experience and to perform at this level, a minimum degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology or an equivalent Life Sciences field is required.
Ø Experience of diagnostic instrumentation, software and applications is desirable.
Ø Proven ability to work remotely and independently, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload in an effective manner.
Ø Strong organisational and planning skills required.
Ø Must be willing to travel extensively around Ireland as required.
Ø A full clean driving licence is essential.
