Role Overview
As a Telesales & Sales Support Specialist, you will combine your expertise in telesales and sales support to drive customer acquisition, maintain strong partner relationships, and ensure a seamless customer experience. This dual-focused role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer-centric environments, thrive in fast-paced settings, and are committed to achieving results.
Key Responsibilities
Telesales Duties:
- Establish and maintain contact with potential customers via phone and email.
- Drive sales of merchant processing products and services, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Sign agreements with new customers and maintain accurate records in our customer database.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and act on sales opportunities, threats, and advocacy-related activities.
Sales Support Duties:
- Serve as the primary internal support contact for sales personnel and strategic partners.
- Review and coordinate merchant applications to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Address and resolve issues in the application and onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update the database of existing merchants and partners.
- Support sales staff during important customer meetings and provide administrative assistance.
- Escalate major client problems to management and ensure swift resolution.
Qualifications & Competencies
Required Skills:
- Fluency in German (native level) and strong working knowledge of English.
- Proven experience in telesales and/or sales support roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous telephone sales experience or education/training in sales, particularly partner sales.
- Knowledge of retail finance products and services.
- Experience handling customer and partner relationships effectively.
