We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary engineering team in Cork. In this permanent role, you will take the lead in designing state-of-the-art electrical systems for a wide variety of building projects. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and execution of electrical systems across multiple sectors, guiding projects from concept development through to detailed design, installation, and commissioning.
- Develop innovative, sustainable electrical solutions by integrating the latest technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous learning.
- Work closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring objectives are met efficiently and successfully.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a driven and technically proficient professional with a strong commitment to sustainable building design. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification design experience within a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience in designing Building Services Electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Revit software.
Preferred Skills:
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards chartered status) with a track record of delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Irish standards and regulations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
