Senior Maintenance Technician
Role Overview: Our client seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing and technical teams. This role involves calibrating, maintaining, and introducing new equipment, ensuring all tooling, jigs, and fixtures are operational, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, install, and manage maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure equipment is calibrated, safe, and operational.
- Troubleshoot and provide rapid response for manufacturing breakdowns and technical issues.
- Coordinate with technical and manufacturing staff on new equipment installations, documentation, and validations per quality guidelines.
- Oversee emergency response equipment (e.g., fire alarms, extinguishers) maintenance and testing.
- Manage maintenance and upkeep of plant facilities, utilities, and grounds.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement in safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in maintenance; 3+ years in medical device, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics manufacturing.
- Certifications: Completed craft apprenticeship preferred.
- Technical Skills: PLC logic programming, wiring, problem-solving techniques, and quality system knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to logically troubleshoot and resolve process/equipment issues.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
