Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate on departmental goals, schedules, and resource planning.
- Manage stock levels, ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and safety regulations.
- Lead plant capital projects, from design to execution, ensuring alignment with business and quality needs.
- Develop project plans, documentation, and KPIs.
- Provide regular project updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
- Manage stakeholder communication and contractor coordination.
- Promote cost reduction through efficiency and drive continuous improvement (RCA & PPS).
- Manage Project Engineering Department finances and deputise for the manager as required.
- Support Business Excellence initiatives.
- Procure cost-effective vendor services with appropriate SLAs.
- Conduct budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting to ensure value for money.
- Ensure projects align with site validation programs and manage validation protocols (FAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Handle quality issues, CAPAs, and change controls.
What we are looking for;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of an Automated Manufacturing Environment and packing equipment would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Projects
- Project experience in relation to financial management and procurement
