Limerick & have engaged with us in Cpl to help recruit a Shipping Administrator to join the team.

The Job:

As a key part of the shipping operations team & reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administration & operations co-ordination duties. This will include duties such as acting as point of contact for customers & external partners/contractors, co-ordinating the movements of vessels to & from port, stock/inventory & warehouse operations reporting, maintaining accurate import & export documentation, planning for incoming traffic, resolving queries & supporting the management team with their ongoing duties.

Experience/Skills required:

• 3rd level qualified ideally.
• 2-3+ years’ experience ideally gained in a relevant shipping, freight, logistics, or similar role.
• Full & clean driving license as well as your own transport is essential.
• Proven ability to multi-task & work with diverse teams.
• Strong IT skills.
• Availability to work 1 weekend in 4 & occasional on call but time off during the week to balance.

The Offer:

This position is being offered as a permanent role with a generous base salary on offer but depending on candidate skills & experience to date. In addition there will be a strong benefits package including pension, health cover, life assurance & other minor benefits.

This position will be fully office based in West Co. Limerick so could suit candidates commuting from north Co. Kerry.
