Job Summary:
We are seeking a TMO Program Manager to join the WBA TC TMO Team. This role plays a crucial part in managing allocated programs and projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful execution. The TMO Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end project management, resource coordination, and adherence to documentation standards. The role also contributes to the development and enhancement of TMO strategies and policies, collaborating with teams in Ireland and the US.
This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin 2 offices.
Job Description
What you will do:
- Contribute to planning and monitoring the overall portfolio roadmap, ensuring assigned programs and projects stay on track.
- Maintain synergy across related programs, identifying and controlling dependencies at project, program, and portfolio levels.
- Oversee program and project planning, ensuring adherence to lifecycle phases and related standards.
- Assess transformation requirements and incorporate them into all program and project plans.
- Contribute to resource planning by accurately assessing requirements and communicating to TMO leadership.
- Participate in intake assessment meetings, reviewing project proposals, assessing viability, and contributing to decision-making.
- Facilitate program and project initiation meetings, offering subject matter expertise and necessary support based on project owner needs.
- Create and maintain program/project artifacts, including charters and management plans, using approved templates.
- Oversee the execution of program tasks and activities, ensuring adherence to plans and timely completion.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) items, ensuring they are tracked and managed effectively.
- Lead program and project meetings, ensuring effective communication and progress tracking.
- Effectively communicate blockers to leadership and escalate risks and issues as necessary.
- Monitor program and project progress, making necessary adjustments to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct reviews to ensure deliverables meet required standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to align objectives, maintain communication, and manage relationships.
- Oversee transformation activities to ensure smooth implementation and minimize disruption.
- Assist in preparing periodic TMO reports.
- Collaborate with the TMO team and leadership on strategy and initiatives.
- Work with leadership to set and track KPIs to support benefit realization.
- Collaborate on developing and enhancing TMO policies, processes, SOPs, and best practices.

- At least 3 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a multinational setting.
- Experience managing multiple projects/programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly in multicultural settings.
- Experience with business transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency in tools such as Asana, SharePoint, Confluence, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and certificates such as Lean Six Sigma preferred.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, or agile portfolio management trends.
…and be experienced with:
- Leading cross-functional initiatives in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
- Managing RAID logs and implementing quality control measures.
- Applying governance frameworks and documentation standards to ensure compliance.
- Working with technical teams and senior management to align objectives and deliverables.
- Program management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) and transformation certifications (preferred but not required).
