Warehouse Operator - Cork
One of our East Cork Clients are looking for a Warehouse Operator
- Its an 11 month FTC and paying €16.83 at 4% shift.
- Based in the warehouse
- Currently 16 in the team
- Split up- receiving/staging/shipping
- Cross trained into all three eventually
Further Information;
- Shift – all day shift 7-3.30 M-T
- 7-2.30 Friday
- One Saturday in every 10 (7-3.30)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport of materials via counterbalance truck, power pallet truck, narrow aisle truck, stacker truck
- Loading and unloading of raw material & finished goods
- Stock receipt, put away & requisition of raw materials
- Shipment & packaging of finished goods
- Complete paperwork required for the task and completes all relevant ERP transactions
- Supports other warehouse operators to ensure optimum efficiency of the warehouse team
- Experience working within a GMP environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensures a high EHS focus within the Warehouse Team to maintain safe working practices and standards
- High level of flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands
- Performs cycle counting & stock checks
- Ad-hoc duties as per standard warehouse practices
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience and working knowledge of Oracle or SAP is essential.
- Experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent organisation and communications skills both written and oral
- Hands on approach, enthusiastic and a customer focussed attitude
- Narrow Aisle Truck, counterbalance truck, power pallet truck, stacker truck
- Known Consignor certification
- IATA / IMDG certification
Required Experience;
- Warehouse operator & some warehouse experience
- Knowledge of oracle/SAP
- Hand held scanners
- Previous use of fork lifts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leaving Certificate
- Full Driving Licence
