Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are deeply embedded in Cpl’s commitment to excellence. We have a strong history of excellent female leaders and our DE&I strategy is designed to incrementally reduce inequality in our workplace.

At Cpl, we recognise that diversity is about differences, seen and unseen. Creating an inclusive environment improves the way we interact with each other, our clients, candidates, and our communities.

Cpl has been very active in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion space for many years but one of the first key milestones for Cpl was the establishment of our LGBT+ committee “BeProud@Cpl” in 2017. This marked the formal beginning of Cpl’s DEI journey and soon after we conducted a Cpl Sense of Us Survey. The Cpl Sense of Us Survey was a way for Cpl to gather information about the diversity of our workforce. This information was then used to form 6 key pillars of DE&I for Cpl. This included LGBTQ+, Gender Balance, Multicultural, Working Parents & Carers and Disability. From here, we devised programmes, initiatives, and events based on the information gathered in that survey.

Cpl is extremely proud to be accredited with the Gold Award from the Irish Centre for Diversity which is about ensuring excellence and EDI is part of the DNA of our organisation.

​Gender Pay Gap Report

This is Cpl Ireland's Gender Pay Gap (GPG) 2023 report. The Gender Pay Gap legislation ensures that there is clearer transparency on gender pay in the workplace. 

We welcome this additional reporting measure which will support us as an organisation in increasing representation across our workforce.

We are also very proud to have been awarded the Business & Finance Media Group's ESG Award for ‘Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Initiative’. Since attaining this award, Cpl has endeavored to build on the Diverse & Inclusive culture we have established. BeProud is our overarching brand for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Cpl.

We also include a strapline to be “Be You, Be Kind, Be Proud”. The use of the fingerprint in our logo is very important to us at Cpl as it highlights that every single person has a unique fingerprint making us all different because of our genetics, backgrounds, and experiences. We are firm advocates that everyone should be comfortable bringing their whole selves to work and be proud to do so. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. At Cpl, we have a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee comprised of people from across the Cpl Group. This dedicated group is responsible for collectively devising our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy and turning this strategy into action through the following areas:

Be Proud Cafés

We invite anyone who wants to be a part of the DEI journey to attend the Cafés and have their ideas heard. At present they are running bi-weekly and are themed based on the topics raised by attendees. There has been great engagement with these cafes to date. In addition to this, we have an ideas-sharing document available to the entire organisation if they wish to share their suggestions/feedback for any existing or new initiatives. The ideas and suggestions as an outcome of these Cafés are being captured and worked on by our DEI Committee.
