As part of our first ever two-week Cpl Wellness Challenge, 33 teams across the Cpl Group took part in with a total of 325 competitors across Ireland. Together we travelled 21,595km.

Physical and Mental Wellness at Work

At Cpl we're aware wellness is not all about physical health, and so our challenge also incorporated meditating in an effort to encourage good mental health.

Over the two-week challenge, there were 3631 meditations completed and 1055 physical activities logged. To quote our wellness partner Zevo 'It was probably the most engaged challenge we've seen to date so that's a great achievement for the company'.

Our overall winning team was 'The Mis-Fits' from Cpl Group Finance, comprised of our CFO Lorna Conn, David Martins, Simone Mufalo, Lenka Volankova, Ross O'Callaghan, Daniel Simwawa, Gillian Peelo, Lisa Sterio, Chris Geraghty and Sean Hayden.

This dedicated team outstepped right up until midnight last night to win by 6 points. Your teamwork, collaboration, fitness, commitment is hugely inspirational.

The individual that accumulated the most individual points across all teams was Simone Mufalo who earned an astonishing 454 points herself.

Congratulations to our winning team and all our colleagues who took part. The winning team were each given a prize and 1,000 was donated to a charity of their choice - The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland
