About Dublin Cemeteries Trust

Dublin Cemeteries Trust was founded in 1828 by Daniel O’Connell and others, to provide dignified and respectful burial spaces to those of all religions and none.

Today, DCT is the leading provider of burial and cremation services in the greater Dublin area and manages a total of five cemeteries and three crematoria, including an award-winning heritage site and visitor centre at Glasnevin, Ireland’s National Cemetery.

The Trust provides an important public benefit to the city of Dublin and surrounding areas, across its five locations at Glasnevin, Dardistown, Newlands Cross, Palmerstown and Goldenbridge. At each of these locations they provide burial services, and they also offer cremation services at Glasnevin, Newlands Cross and Dardistown.

Over the years, the Trust has built up an expert and caring staff who provide advice and counsel to bereaved loved ones at a very difficult time.

Given its long history and many decades of experience, Dublin Cemeteries Trust has become a national thought leader in matters relating to funeral services, burials and cremations. All of this acts as part of the fulfilment of Dublin Cemeteries Trust’s overall Vision:
