We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our client's healthcare team. The ADON will assist in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and staff development. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, developing, organizing, and overseeing nursing operations.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies.
- Monitor patient care quality and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Participate in staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administration to enhance patient care.
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns effectively.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee infection control and patient safety programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to patient care and nursing operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid NMBI registration and PIN
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
