We are looking for a motivated and experienced Full Cycle Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth. This full-time, permanent role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to securing contracts and building client relationships. You will work closely with operations, estimating, and marketing to ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting To: Group Sales and Marketing Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a business development strategy
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions for project challenges
- Prepare prequalification documents, tenders, and presentations
- Host post-tender debrief sessions
- Negotiate commercially advantageous contracts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Track and report on KPIs
- Stay updated on industry trends
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in business development within the construction services industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the Irish construction industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document design software is a plus
- Valid Irish driving license preferred
